Backup does not work

I'm getting the error

'The backup application could not start due to an internal error.

The specified service does not exist as an installed service (0x80070424).'

I've tried the backup service on both manual and auot, and the RPC service is running.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Has anyone found a sloution yet?

Thank you all. I found the answer on another forum. I was missing registry entry.
