toshiba laptop windows7 cannot get on internet

I am unable to connect to the internet on my home my home network, while two other laptops can.

I have tried the mentioned dns servers and shows temporary relief, but then it stops and continuously tries to load. the internet connection shows excellent and connected but doesn't load anything.

i cannot stay up long enough to update anything or install another browser.

help please

This sounds a lot like a problem I had with my own Toshiba; can you tell me more about your laptop (model, when you got it, etc)? It may be the same problem.

i bought it a few weeks ago but i havent tried to use it since a week ago and this has always been a problem..its a toshiba satellite L755

I don't think I can help you, mine was a different problem (but with the same result). (It involved my security trial software becoming unwanted after it expired). I'm dealing with more Toshiba problems myself right now, still in the form of internet connections. They seem to have a problem in general...sorry I can't help you. Although, as a pre-emptive measure, I recommend that you uninstall any security software trial versions that were pre-loaded onto your laptop and install your own.

@baccini when i hooked up with the ethernet cable it seems t be working now...is there anything that i could do to avoid doing that each time to connect to the internet?

Question Was Your Toshiba Running Vista And What Was Your Trial Software

It was running Windows 7, and the trial software was Norton Antivirus.
