Here are my BSOD error files as required in the posting rules. I get crashes at random, Hal.dll is a frequent bother with them but there are no set tasks that cause it. I have gone 8 days w/o a crash and other days I can't go 5 minutes. I hope someone has a solution.

Easy, your AVG. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Download tools and utilities | AVG Worldwide

Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials

I would also re-install this driver (Rt64win7.sys ) with the newest version available.

thanks, I have already gotten rid of AVG and installed Avira. I initially had Avast. Looking at my machine, I have the driver for the Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver version 7.46.610.2011 and I believe that is newer than the one in the minidump file i posted. Let me know please. I am not sure how to determine what I had. All 3 Realtek drivers were installed on or after 8/14
I have avast on two other laptops with W7 and no problems. Why are there problems with one install over another? (If you had any thoughts).

I did uninstall my Avira, but haven't gotten MS SecEssentials yet. My concern is that I won't have as much control over what MS updates I will be able to skip. I had three crashes, one was totally different. PC actually shut off. other two were same errors. Can you look at the most recent files and see if there is anything different going on?

I did follow the first recommendations. I am running the machine W/O AV at the moment.

Somebody look at the files I posted and let me know if you think there is any chance this is due to the PSU.

Just checking back to see if anyone has suggestions.
Do any of you know if a case could cause the BSOD's? I have changed out the psu to an Antec Basiq (DT1104DAQ0012376) 80plus certified....had a couple of crashes since.
