Solved The user profile service service failed the logon!

User profile cannot be loaded.
as it says ,this is what i see when trying to logon to the laptop, is there a fix for this ,i started safe mode and saw help about creating a new profile and moving the "old " folders into the new profile .
I thought i would get some advice first .
also what could have caused this, i dont think it is user error as it was shutdown normally and all was well this morning.

Any number of reasons. Power interruption during startup/shutdown, registry corruption because of poorly programmed apps or bad uninstalls, malware, bad hard drive, bad RAM, weak power supply..

If you want to do some R&D, start by looking for bad application install / uninstall or malware. Check for errors in the event log. Of course you'll need to recreate the profile, but the logs may be able to tell what happened.

Thanks guys , i suspect it may have been an update or closing the lid whilst unplugged during update install. when i just plugged in the power supply and clicked shutdown so i can get to boot in safe mode it went to the installing updates window ,however it still wont load the profile. ,will try out the fixes and get back to you.
