after 30 seconds of loading laptop crashes.

My battery is full and the lights are on. I can turn it on and I can hear it loading up, but after about 30 seconds to one minute nothing. No lights and the computer just shuts off. I have a Toshibaa Satellite, I am not computer savy but would like some insight or something to go on.

If it is still under warranty, you can call them and they won't charge you.

Otherwise, my first suspect would be your hard drive. Try booting it up with any Windows installation disc, or your recovery disc. If it boots properly from the cd, you can see whether or not your hard drive is corrupted, or dead.
