Here is a list of the items I will be using for the system. I know I could have selected better options but each item was a deal and this is really just to have the family connect online and network in the 2nd room of the new house. It will be run with a 46 inch LCD Sony Bravia 1080P for a monitor. There is already a BR DVD and another DVD/VCD player with Karaoke hooked into the TV. It will be operated by a Yamaha RX-2500 receiver along with a 5.1 Definitive speaker system and a 12 inch powered sub. I did not wish to drill holes in the floor board so I bought a Netgear AV 500 adapter. This will also hook up the wife's PC upstairs. I should have spent a little more for Modular PS but I did not care to pay more for making it neater looking. I am wanting to run 7 32 bit but with the AMD quad I will run 64 bit. I just can't use some of the recording adapters I already have to store shows on the HD off the DVR. I did remove the old DTV DVR HD that has all the kids shows saved. I had to install a PCIE adapter I had extra SATA and eSata along with IDE as that HD was only 80GB and an IDE that was in the DVR. I will put it all together this Friday and let you know how it all works out. All in all, I don't think it is a bad system but figured I would get some input as I posted the prices along with the items and I can return them before opening them up. Thanks for any input ahead of time.
