Can you recommend a good cpu for gaming?

I am getting ready to get a new cpu for my computer and I would like a recommendation for a decent cheap gaming cpu I could get around $150. I'm not looking for anything outstanding though as long as its better than my current
AMD Athlon II X2 215 processor.

That's the same cpu I have in my system.....runs every thing well GTA 4, Mafia 2, and Flatout......

Some of the chips are very good over-clockers....but not mine

You haven't filled out your system spec's so I can't tell if you have a AM3+ board....
