Solved Microphone works on Teamspeak, Skype etc. not on GFWL.

Hey everyone,

if I play GTA IV and set-up my microphone via Games for Windows Live it doesn't detect any sound if I'm talking. Other applications like Skype, Teamspeak and Windows do catch the sound, but Games for Windows Live doesn't. Any help?

I know this is an old thread, but have you found a solution? I've been having the exact same problem when I play Gears of War

I bought a new microphone and that worked.
