I am connecting to my office computer from home using remote desktop connection.

My office computer is in a network under router.
So I forwarded a port 3389 to my computer's internal ip address.

Now I want to connect to another computer at my office from home.
I tried forwarding the port 3990. But I was not able to access using remote desktop connect.

What should I do to access the second computer. Will 3390, 3391 ... will not work?

Hello,

Have you done a port redirection from external 3990 to internal 3389 or have you just opened port 3990 to that PC?

Make sure that the PC is enabled for Remote Desktop (Right click computer, go to properties, click Advanced System settings and then on the remote tab)

I just forwarded a port 3389 to the 192.168.3.100 which is my office laptop.
I did this in Port forwarding in Router Configuration page.

And the remote desktop connection is enabled in the destination computer.

Can you do a screen print of the Port mappings on the router?

ADSL ruoter port forwarding

Hi Mr.Dave Atkin :
Me & my partners have 2 offices in same city with 1km distinct between, recently we decided to get ADS L service at one them,so can we use port forwarding to get this service to the other office without affording another ADSL service, knowing that each office have PCs with Windows seven installed

Ahh right ok. All you're doing there is opening a port.

It isn't clear from the screen shot if your router can do port redirections (I.e. if you RDP to port 3390, it would redirect it to port 3389 on the LAN PC).

The following link shows how you can change the RDP listening port on a PC. If you change the listening port to 3390 it should work:
How to change the listening port for Remote Desktop

It mentions changing registry settings so take a backup first.
