got a problem with WindowsXP Mode running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
The Vm starts up nicely, XPmode is loaded, however if I click the USB tag in the upper bar, XP Mode, and the whole host win7, does crash. The "tipical" Microsoft Blue Screen comes up stating BAD POOL HEADER... and something more, that I cannot read in time, as all flashes and System goes down.
Already uninstalled and re-installed Latest MIcrosoft release of both Virtual machine and XPmode application, unsuccessfully. Quite strangely this happened after having Scrapped my SSD and reinstalled win7 from scratch, due to a Windows update unrecoverable error .

Sounds to me that either your USB ports are being used by a device causing conflicts, or your USB ports are having issues with XP Mode... check your host chipset drivers and see if you need to install an updated driver for your usb ports...
See ya!!!!
