Bluetooth Audio problems

My bluetooth seems to be installed and working after *gasp* upgrading to Windows 7. My old devices are still there under the audio tab but cannot be removed using the remove button. Audio devices don't work. If I try to re-pair, the bluetooth search does not find the audio devices (but will find other devices not already paired). Is there somewhere in the registry I can delete all my old devices so I can re-add them? If I hit the connect button to try to connect to them, it says connecting for about 2 seconds then goes to disconnecting.

I have tried removing/reinstalling drivers and software. No go. Even after doing that, the old paired devices still show up in audio tab. I can't live without my A2DP.

I am using the Widcomm bluetooth built into my acer 8920 laptop.

Bluetooth issues

Windows 7 has a lot of issues with bluetooth. I had a problem very similar to yours. What I did was remove the widcomm bluetooth in the add/remove programs and simply reinstall it. Seemed to fix that problem, although even after you get it working it seems you cannot explore your bluetooth places, windows explorer just crashes. Also did you mean to say none of your audio is working? I would say thats compatibility issues, was your computer originally intended for windows xp rather then vista? That could be your big problem right there.

I installed Widcomm driver, but can't explore Bluetooth places too, Windows Explorer crashes immediately, I hope this will get fixed in RC.

Windows 7 has native Bluetooth drivers, but they are not working with Belkin dongle

hello can you try to disable to disable and enable your blutooth adapter?
while it may not be the same for me both the bluetooth/wireless (its a all in one) dont *flush* their connections and disabling and enabling does the trick...( have tried pairing some devices (phones for instance))
i have not been using as much of the blutooth option as i as i should so i cant help with your A2DP...
