Office 2010 key product problem

Hello, i have bought a laptop with windows 7 and office 2010 but the given key (it was on a sticker underneath the laptop),product doesn't work.what can i do?

Welcome Madamfrosan to the windows 7 forums.

The Key that is on your computer is the key for your windows version Not for office 2010. That key is only available from Microsoft. You can buy a key either on-line from microsoft or most large computer stores will see you the carton that has the key inside of it.

I have dos 6.22, wfwg 3.11, win98, 2000 and xp VHD's available for testing. MS's Virtual PC works great.
Most commonly the laptop manufacturers give windows 7 operating system's OEM key on a COA sticker underneath the laptop.

Normally you will not find the Office 2010 key on the sticker on your laptop. You must have got the MSOffice 2010 starter's edition with your laptop. To make the MS Office to work, you need to purchase the licence and the corresponding key separately.

Rroad, I have setup the starter edition on a few machines and word and excel work fine. More than most people need unless they require outlook or access.
