chkdsk and bad sector?

how do u check bad sector in USB flash drive, (this is in drive G)?
i followed someone's instruction, but that did not work.chkdsk2.png

You might try this in a command prompt (with administrative privileges): "chkdsk X: /r", without quotes and where X is your USB drive.

yep,
trouble is;
i downloaded bootloader, unetbootin, and made persistent usb flash drive,
and ran ubuntu 11.04 from this usb flash drive,
got error message on monitor "................... can not mount...................... "

Did you change boot order on flash? If so, you hosed the install on the flash and will have to start over.

I have an idea... If I remember correctly Unetbootin uses a linux based system, so maybe you can use Ubuntu live cd to help you fix the boot order back? Worth a try! :geek:
