web camera issues, my hp pavillon dv600 upgraded from vist, not by my

Hello,

Very much a novice, trying to use my webcamera, (skype) this laptop, was upgraded from vist to windows 7, I am not able to find the webcam! Any help would be great.

Search your camera on the internet just type 'hp pavillon dv600 camera driver' on google. And search for it ! do you have the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7 ?

Got to Control Panel\Device Manager, with the webcam attached click Scan for new hardware at the top and see if it picks it up. If not, cam still attached try Windows Update\check for Updates.
