After Reinstalling Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, 2 x 3Tb HD's playing up

Hi all and I am glad I've found this forum after a fruitless search of the internet over the last few hours.

I have just reinstalled Windows 7 on my pc (Pro, 64 bit) and although the install went well a couple of my hard drives are no longer accessible. I have got 4 HDs all in all; a 300GB master drive, a 80GB workhorse and 2 x 3Tb storage drives (each running independantly - not connected to each other in a raid partition).

Now after my reinstallation drives C and D (the 300 and 80 GB ones) work normally but my E drive is shown as being RAW (on the partitioning program with windows) and is no longer NTFS formatted and my F drive shows everything is normal but hangs when you try to access it via the My Computer icon; only allowing me to see the primary folders.

I am hoping someone can explain the simple thing I am neglecting to do to make these 2 drives work like they were this morning! I have avoided messing with them incase I do something that will cause me more of a headache.

I know I did not do anything silly like formatting the wrong hard drive when reinstalling so I am at a loss.

Thanks in advance to those who know the quick and easy sollution for this problem!

Are E, and F, external, USB, sata, or?

They are both internal and sata

edit: I have just noticed that on my F drive I can access my films folder and watch the films but I cannot access any other folder on this drive. This is getting more bizzare.

How are the two 3TB drives partitioned? Do they each have a single partition spanning the entire disk?

The reason I'm asking is because generally disks are formatted with the MBR partition scheme, but MBR only supports a maximum disk size of 2TB (2048GB). The GPT partition scheme doesn't have this limitation, so it would also be interesting to know which scheme the disks are set up with.

But I'm sure the problem has something to do with the MBR/2TB limitation. It would explain why you can access your films folder as it apparently falls below the 2TB "border" on the disk.

I've never used a HD even nearly that big (I wouldn't know what to do with all the space LOL) and never used GPT either, so I don't know anything more, but someone on the forums will find this information useful I'm sure.
