You could possibly also remove mediainfo from the computer if you don't use it. You must have installed it at some point. See if it is in the 'programs & features' in the control panel.

Not finding it there :( , and i never use it..

edit: i didn't know it comes with k-lite codec pack.

Sometimes the name is not very obvious may have to do some very close checking.

After doing some googling have you by chance installed any k-lite codec some people have reported the same thing by using them.

In shellexview you may need to look for K-lite just a guess.
You could try to uninstall them and see if it removes that item.

okay i uninstalled it. the media info is gone :D after that my firefox icon disappeared too, but i uninstalled and reinstalled it. now question is where do i get a codec pack that won't add up stuff to context menus :(

Good to hear it's gone. As far as the codec pack goes I have no idea I have seen a lot of people on here use Shark007 codec (The maker of that is a member here) but I have no experience with it.

okay, i will check that :). i never knew that 'mediainfo' adds up to the context menu due to k-lite codec pack, thanks for pointing it out.much appreciated :).....solved
