This Copy of Windows Is Not Genuine, Windows 7 Build 7600

Hi,
I recently had to do a clean installation of Windows 7 ultimate 64 as a result of an unknown problem i had, I Formatted my Hard drive & reinstalled windows only to have a message pop up asking me to enter my product key again, & as i have it then tells me my copy of windows is not genuine (which it is).

Your Windows Key appears to be from a not-for-resale MSDN account. You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key.(all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window. or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)

I would like to thank you guys for the help and quick reponse i do believe my problem has been fixed i think. in one of the links you posted it told me to go to my computer properties & then click on activate & i couldn't believe it was that simple the black background with the message this version of windows is not genuine vanished & when i restarted, it didn't ask me for my product key.
So once again many thanks.

defective. I believe it is the usc: that is messing it up.

Yeah :(
The auto-complete on this forum really complains about copy/pasting from a WLMail NNTP post - it seems to work fine on the other forums I go to.

That's the third time I've forgotten to change the links afterwards :(
