Hi Everyone,
I can't get Starcraft Anthology to run on my computer. The computer was built for me by a friend and I can't remember all the technical info. If you need any more details please just ask I'll ask my friend who put it together for me.
It runs Windows 7 64 Ultimate with an Intel Core i7 (920 I think) has 12 GBs of RAM and plenty of storage over 3TB.
I downloaded the installer from Blizzard's store and it downladed files about 2GB (am I right in thinking this is a "patch"?). The problem is when I go to install the game I got the following error message:
"The file "C:\Starcraft\StarCraft.temp\Maps.temp\s… could not be renamed to "C:\Starcraft\StarCraft.temp\Maps.temp\s… (ConflictManager::ResolveConflicts/1)"
I have tired everything I can think of to get it to work. I've ran it in compatibility mode I've ticked everything but compatibility mode. Sadly I'm not to good with computers. I don't play games other than Starcraft II (I'm a new player started yesterday) and I'm now on the last mission and would like to start the first game.
I would reallly appreciate your help. I'm sorry if this goes against the rules but if anyone would be up for a SC:II match just let me know.
Happy Holidays,
Grace
