We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

The memory dump refers to a memory exception in a windows OS file. Might just be a driver but we need to be able to boot some how.

Do you have the win 7 dvd? Can you boot from it? If so you can do a repair install

Ugh, thats one reason I just love netbooks.

If you cant restore from factory partition, and have no dvd drive (might want to get an external USB) your only option is to do a repair install from a properly formatted USB stick with a win 7 image on it.

If after factory restore you get BSOD it must be faulty hardware like hdd/ram or in some rare cases master boot record virus. I suggest checking ram with MemTest86. The restoring files could be damaged too.

memory tested, changed to new one as well, hdd checked... i hope it's a virus, not a mainboard problem

I would recommend scanning for Master Boot Record (MBR) virus with Eset NOD32 on another computer if you cannot launch it. It detects MBR pretty well. Also ComboFix could find lots of random virus related and software related errors/changes and fix them - great program :).
