Assuming that you have a parallel port, and that it's enabled in your BIOS so that Windows sees it and has a device driver for it installed, I think you can access the port through the device name LPTx: where x is a number starting from 1, so it would most likely be LPT1: - it could also just be LPT: - I'm not totally sure about it.

Corazon is spot on, many newer motherboards no longer have the parallel port or even a serial port now days and if you are wanting to program something using the parallel port as the connection port then you may have to purchae a parallel port add-on card.
