Hello there.
I 'm looking for easiest possibe way to switch between external monitor/external+internal extended view laptop LCD. Most likely this could be done by Fn+F8 which cycles among internal/external/internal+external (cloned). What I'd need is to cycle between External output only/internal+external (extended) and optionally internal only. So int+ext in cloned mode has no use for me. I know that it can be switched by Win+P which gives to choice whether cloned or extended view, but I'd like to have this changed in the cycle by Fn+F8 from cloned to extened, is that possible?

If you set the Multiple displays option under Screen Resolution to Extend these displays. Then Fn + F8 should cycle between internal, external, and extended only.

Unfortunatelly I have tried that and Fn+F8 only cycles between Inernal->Dual(Clone)->CRT(doesnot even return to external monitor)

I have figured out that DisplayWwitch.exe does the trick but don't know how to modify Fn+F8 key to make it toggle between displyswitch /external and displayswitch /extend

I guess Fn+F8 uses some hw routine rather than Windows' DisplaySwitch that seems to handle both displayports correctly.
