How do I change the alert flash in the Windows 7 Superbar?

Currently it is flashing the default orange colour, I was wondering if there was a way that this could be changed so that it flashes something else, blue or purple for example.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Welcome to Seven Forums Vectera. This is called Color Hot-Tracking. The glow is based on the predominant RGB color of the applications icon. Since you are using basically black and white icons, it appears to be getting it's glow from the programs original icon. Do they all glow orange, or is the glow of each different? There is no way I know of to change this, but perhaps changing the original icon with Resource Hacker or such might let it use that icons predominate color if they all glow different in the color of the original applications icon?

Thank you, but that's not what I was after, I probably should have explained it better... I was looking for when I get a message through MSN. The colour hot-tracking always shows up a blue. The alerts and such from MSN and other programs is orange, this is what I wanted to change, through anything possible really...

Ahhh, sorry, the program alert color. I'm unaware of how to change that as well. Hopefully someone has found out where that setting is and can help you. I don't believe it has been done however. A Guy
