Do I need a new WLAN card? Network Adapter has no WiFi options?! HELP!

I want to start by saying I have no business trying to fix this on my own but I am determined it has to be something simple! I can not pin point what I did to cause my Wi Fi to stop working or disable.

I have tried all the trouble shooting solutions but unfortunately my magic F8 button will not enable let alone show the option when ghosted! I took my keyboard off and verified the Realtek RTL8191SE is in fact there however next to Network adapters only the PCIe FE Family Controller is listed.

I recently tried to download the Fix offered by Toshiba and Windows, restarted my computer and it is still not recognizing my Wi Fi. Please tell me its an easy fix or just that I need to buy a new card!!! Any advice is greatly appreciated. But please give me the Windows for Dummies version because again I have no clue what I am doing.

Thanks again for any help offered!
Racheal

Under network adapters, I included all the "Hidden Devices" in the screen capture! However the Family Controller is the only one listed otherwise.

I only have the Windows Firewall. I previously have uninstalled and reinstalled but once I unzip I restart me computer then what? Is there a step that I am missing or should it be showing up? When I click on start and search for realtek this ALL that appears. I think I might have uninstalled and reinstalled both 32 and 64 not knowing what I was doing. I made a mess hu!

I just finished uninstalling, reinstalling and restarted my computer. It still is not showing up under my Network adapter however it does show under my programs if I go to the screen to uninstall or change.

I am missing a silly simple step right? Im so sorry to bother you! I am so grateful for your help. I have to admit it has taken 11 months of me fumbling around with it before I was ready to ask for help!

I guess and need to be satisfied with the fact the catalog reset and SFC Scannow had nothing to report! Finally the Realtek IS now showing under my network adapters but with and error and not working properly.

I went to add legacy hardware and it gave me several to choose from but the one I assumed was right didn't work. Am I so far off once again?

Oh and I'm wondering iff all this time trying to uninstall ad reinstall i didn't have aversion of WinZip on my computer? Once I downloaded that is when it seems the devices appeared.

You have been so patient! Thanks again for all your help!
