No ingame sound when using skype or teamspeak. HELP!

I am running an HT Omega Striker 7.1 sound card, and the in game sound, and built in voice chat of BF works fine. When I try to play any game with Teamspeak or skype running, I lose all in game sound. I have already checked my mixer icon, and I have the communications tab set to do nothing when windows detects communications activity. I am at a loss, and dont know what else to do. HELP!

Couple of suggestions I found:

"I had this issue and I solved it. TeamSpeak 3->Settings->Plugins (Ctrl+Shift+P) and uncheck the "Volume Control" plugin. I haven't had a problem since I did this. "

I had already done that, and tht didnt work, but thank you. I am having the same problem with skype too. I dont get it. I can use any voip program perfectly, I just cant get in game sound when Im using them. Ive been through all my sound card settings too. Im going crazy.
