I recently reinstalled my windows 7 professional on my laptop after it began behaving strangely. I had backed up most of my files but I realised there was one folder residing on my desktop which I had forgotten. Can anybody recommend a good recovery tool to help me get these files back.
thanks

If the new windows installation has overwritten the location of the folder and the files in it (on desktop) you are seeking, it is difficult or may be impossible to recover by any tool.
As seavixen32 has suggested try using Recuva or any good recover tool available on internet on your machine.
