Lost Aero

Hello

I have lost the ability to run Aero since upgrading to the RC. I didn't miss it much, until I got used to using the Aero Peek on my netbook. I enabled it in RC1, but then my computer would freeze after each action. It would freeze for anywhere from 10-45 minutes.

I have:
Intel Q9450
8 GB Corsair XMS2 Ram
eVGA 9600 GT that drives an Acer 233H and a Samsung 2253bw
BFG PCI 6200 that drives 2 Samsung 2253bw

I have the latest nvidia drivers, and have uninstalled (in safe mode) and reinstalled them as well. The monitors are all run at their native resolution.

I really would like to be able to use Aero on my machine. I understand that my setup is a little bit strange. I had initially suspected the 6200 as being the issue, thinking that it may not have had enough horsepower, but since Aero runs great on my Acer netbook, I don't really believe that is the cause.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help and thoughts on the matter.

Hi and welcome to seven forums

What theme are you running and is it aero? Did you run WEI, I assume your score was high enough not to be a problem. there is a way to force aero, but I forget how. Might want to search in tutorials for it

I suspect that you are right... have you tried disconnecting the 6200 and see if the problem persists??
