Cannot see the addresses for my USB ports.

Hi.

I want to disable some of the USB ports in my W7U-64bit Ultimate system

Normally I do this by viewing in HWINFO64.
The after in DeviceManager to uninstall the wanted USB ports.

But now I cannot see the adresses in HWINFO64 nor in DM.

Why that ?

There are programs available that specifically identify USB ports and their bandwidth.

I'd suggest trying, even if it's only a trial version, something like USB Info 2.0 and see if it helps you to nail the issue.

I have tested it with USBview and USB deviewer, and they didn't did the job.

I have an idea, that it's Windows 7 that does it, as USB addresses normal are visible in Device Manager.

I'm sure there must be compatible USB analytical programs, apologies - I didn't check compatibility on the toolkit that I mentioned earlier, I had assumed it would have been updated by this time...
