Virus deleted most icons I got all of them back exept for show desktop

Um I got somewhat of a stupid question

I got a virus and it deleted all of my icons like: Desktop, Recycle Bin, Network, IE, and many others.

I got them all back except for the show desktop button.

How would i get that back?

I can right click the task bar and click show the desktop but it is just not the same as the button next to the start menu

When it comes to computers i am usually the best but this time this stupid little problem has stumped me lol

If your icons were hidden because of a virus, then I would suggest running a small program from Bleeping Computer called unhide. You can get it from HERE.

Wow that create shortcut solution worked perfectly

See i new there was a simple solution to this i just couldn't see it

As for the second answer it was virus related and i will probably use the unhide program you were talking about
