When I try to access Firefox, Google Chrome, IE or any other program that starts internet access I get a flash of the screen and then nothing. If I try to access through a shortcut to a web page I get "There was a problem sending the command to the program." I recently ran "HijackThis" to remove some issues, but was able to access the internet then. Now I can't. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Hello cold1, and Welcome to Seven Forums.

May I suggest not using registry programs such as Ccleaner and Hijackthis unless you really know more about the registry. There is little reason to, and An antivirus should be just as good as Hijackthis in the removal of viruses. You can even couple the AV with Malwarebytes if you would like added protection. What kind of antivirus do you have?
