Make sure all of your files are sorted into the User folders, then go through and throw out what you don't need.

Uninstall any Programs you don't use or want.

Some of these steps may help: Clean up factory bloatware

Then clean up with CCleaner.
 
Do not save unnecessary stuffs on your PC.

In fact, you might want to consider buying a solid-state drive - a performance boost and more storage space can't be bad.

To gain Disk Space in C Drive please go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features and uninstall the programs that you don't use. Then open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features and click on Turn Windows Features on and off and uninstall the features that you hardly use.

Buy a second hard disk, external for a laptop or internal for a desktop, then save all your personal files on it. Only install programs on the windows (c:) partition. This will save loads of space and make backing up very easy so you can re install windows if you need to.

I hate the smell of friggin corn chip butt breath snacks.
Not very big, just about 80 gigs and fully dedicated to the C Drive. I have another 500 gigs external hard disk though.
