Solved Windows was unable to complete the format after dual boot

I'm setting up a Dual Boot Windows 7 and Windows XP. I installed Windows 7 first, then installed XP second, both installed on seperate partitions.but now i don't want xp so i formatted second drive but Windows was unable to complete the format now so hoe to format my second drive ...

Make sure Win7 holds the System Active flags then delete the XP partition in Disk Mgmt.
