Solved Little free program that works well for me.

So far I like everything about it. Quick and easy and has been correct every time so far.

Did you manage to install it and get it to work ? On my pc's I can only use the portable version.

I've had it installed for years, no problem. Be aware, it will (maybe obviously) only alert to updates for programs that FileHippo lists. I also use SUMO, which is more comprehensive, just be sure to choose the installer without Relevant Knowledge, and pay attention to uncheck all the "extras" the installer wants to install. I find it worth it to have the program.

Mozilla really needs to stop updating Firefox so quickly.

I found it accident when try to keep Java updated. I don't use the Beta.

I once used one of those update checkers (don't remember the name). Every time some program's language pack was updated, I got an alert. It was kind of a pain. I got rid of it.
