I need help with Time Warner Cable Connection issue

I live in Brooklyn NY and i having slowly internet connection and unstable connection with TWC. please help me
i'm using 10MB download which is 29.99/month and my OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

it seems there's some problem with my connection. i had call TWC many many times and they sent their worker to my home tried to fix it but they were useless.
if anyone knows how to fix it please help me and thanks

Your IP 10.81.64.1 is a internal IP. So your going through there Proxy server before getting onto the NET. You dont have your OWN IP. For Example I have A ip of [94.172.4.1] and it changes every time I restart the PC. I'm unsure to why your SP is doing this but I would ask if its them. and there routing.

Try this Go into Control Panel>Network & Sharing>Change adapter settings>Right click on your wireless nwtwork connection and Select Properties. Click on Configure. Now look at the Advanced Tab here you can tweak the settins for your wireless adapter. they are all different so you will need to research what settings work best for you. You should also see if your pc manufacturer has a new driver for the wireless card. Also keep in mind 10MB is in perfect conditions which is never. If you're getting 5-7MB you're doing good. To add to that your bandwidth is shared at the end of your area by everyone else on TW. The more people on the net the slower your service will be. Hope this helps and adding Google's DNS settings should help as mrdemon suggested. Good luck!

Could u tell me how to do it? I'm using P5N-D on board network. here is image below:

You will need to find and download a specification manual to adjust these settings or you can document the original settings so that you can always reset them. You can then change the settings to see if you get any improvement. From your snapshot I can tell you all the listing starting with "Wake" and Vlan Id you need not change, they apply to local area network operations. Concentrate on the "low power" and "speed" terms. The manual should describe just what each one does. I looked up P5N-D, this is a motherboard capable of using 8GB of ram. If you are using only 2GB of ram, you really want to go to 8GB because your ram is being shared with your integrated video card leaving you less memory to "work" with. Take care.

Great, that's where you want to start at with Windows 7. Get the spec manual and tweak the settings.

Where are you on this? Did you get the spec's and try changing your settings?

NOW speeds is good. i wish i could get verizon FIOS svc... TWC is sooo ****in suck damn this company.
