icons are pixelated on my desktop

hello window users,hope you guys are all good.

id like to know why some icons on my desktop are pixelated?and some are clear as crystal.

Pixelated desktop icons

This morning, after restarting my computer, the desktop looked like this (see screenshot). Except for the Recycle Bin, and one Folder icon (Norton 360), all the other desktop icons are pixelated. If I choose Large Icons, the pixelation disappears. I also tried to manually change one icon back to its original form, and this didn't work.

BTW, this is not the only wierd symptom I've had over the past few weeks, but the symptoms keep changing. This is the first time for this one. I'm beginning to think I've been infected by a virus.
