crashes lots and wont even get past windows symbol loading

Sorry I'm using my phone type this have hp pav laptop windows 7 64 bit and ran startup repair for 2 days and no go try reinstalling and gave me bunch errors its almost 3 yr old comp any suggestions or help I don't really jave money to take it in and never mad recovery disk. I was playing on fire fox when crashed and I got malware adivra advast I alsp sometimes get the instruction at 0x7797e02 refrenced memory at 0x00000000

Perhaps your hardware isn't working. I'd start with the memory. Remove all but 2 GB of RAM from the computer and see if it boots. If it doesn't, replace the RAM with the RAM you have removed. Remove the bad RAM.

Says the instruction at 0x774b1e02 refrenced memory at 0x000000.the memory could nit be written when trued windows memory diahnostic

Remove all but a single memory stick, and run the diagnostics. Do this for every stick until you find the bad one. Remove it and replace it (needs to be an exact replacment, RAM is fickle like that). Let me know if you have any other questions.

so for while couldnt get into safe mode or anything but finally got windows 7 reinstalled i havent done memory thing yet because my comp was crashing before i could ge much done but should i wipe my laptop and reinstall windows 7 because still crashing not 100% sure if i understand the memory tool and didnt wanna mess up my laptop more (sorry if seem dumb)

Yes, run the boot version of Memtest86+ paying close attention to Parts 2 and 3 of the tutorial. Also, in case Memtest86+ misses anything and comes up with no errors, run the extended version of the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool for at least five passes. These you may want to run overnight since they take a long time to complete (run them an hour before bed each of the next two nights and check before going to sleep that they are still running).

If you swap any memory components, follow these steps for ESD safety:

Shut down and turn off your computer.
Unplug all power supplies to the computer (AC Power then battery for laptops, AC power for desktops)
Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to close the circuit and ensure all power drains from components.
Make sure you are grounded by using proper grounding techniques, i.e. work on an anti-static workbench, anti-static desk, or an anti-static pad. Hold something metallic while touching it to the anti-static surface, or use an anti-static wristband to attach to the anti-static material while working.

Once these steps have been followed, it is safe to remove and replace components within your computer.

if it says hardwares bad do i just take it in. Because I'm bit unsure of taking it in because i know some place push to try upgrade and buy stuff not really needed because when i bought my laptop they tried get me to add all sorts like more memory and stuff when it was brand new

If the memory is bad, contact the RAM manufacturer and ask for a replacement. The modules typically have a lifetime warranty.

You can also send the laptop to the laptop vendor to have it repaired. What type of laptop is it?

Alright, run the memtest86+ software and let us know the results.

If you have any RAM errors, you can decide whether to send the RAM back to its manufacturer or send the whole laptop to HP for repairs.
