Hi all, I'm new here and unfortunately today I experienced the BSOD, I was just speaking to my brother on Skype and it just stopped and then the BSOD came up. I've gone through all the "BSOD Posting instructions" and hopefully I wont have forgotten anything in my post. So here we go!

----------------------------------------------
I'm currently running Windows 7 Ultimate:
----------------------------------------------
- 64bit operating system
- The original OS was Windows Vista 32bit which came with the original PC, but since then i've changed all the parts (Paid a computer man to put all the new computer components in a new case together. I chose all the parts and handed them over to the chap) apart from the original HDD which I kept and am still using now. I changed almost every part, new graphics card, new processor, new motherboard, new RAM, new PSU and kept the original CD-Drive. (Sorry if im barbling on and you don't need this info, just thought i'd post as much as I can, so I dont miss anything)

- Every single part apart from the original CD-Drive was spanking new, my computer system is around 3-4 months old now.

- As with the new parts, my OS Windows 7 Ultimate was installed on the new system once all the parts were put together, so the OS is also 3-4 months old.

I've followed all the pointers in the instruction post, and hopefully haven't forgotten anything, so thanks all for reading my post and hopefully you'll be able to assist me in my BSOD problem. Thanks again everyone!

-Connor

I know how to install a driver, its just I don't have an Atheros wireless adaptor, I've got a Belkin Wireless G (F5D7050) and i've been on my drivers and its fully up to date. I dont have anything as "Atheros" on my devices, drivers or installed software. So that's why i'm a little confused.

Thanks for your reply again,

- Connor

I dont see a belkin driver (perhaps belkin uses atheros?) but I do see the atheros one see snip. Maybe thats why it is crashing.

Do you know what could be the solution then? Would it be possible to remove the "athrxusb.sys" to fix the problem?

Thanks again,

- Connor

If you dont use the Atheros driver simply rename it to athrxusb.bak so it cant load.
