Virtual Desktop for Rainmeter and Fences

Hello. I only have one monitor just would like to enjoy a full desktop experience of Rainmeter, but still have space left for my icons and shortcuts in Fences. ( With-out them over lapping ) Is there an app that I can assign a hot-key to and when I press it it'd bring to an EMPTY new desktop ( where I can set up Rainmeter ) and then switch back to my original desktop?
