Solved Max Payne 3 Pushed back 2 more days Disappointed

I don't know what it is with this Max Payne 3 Game but The release was last night 9pm pacific time 12am Eastern and I'll be Damed ! (Farooq voice lmao )

It was pushed back to june 1st STEAM issue? Does anyone else know anything about this I been waiting a long time for this and im about to contact steam and just say give me my money back this is ridiculous

If the Hardcopy is Available at Gamestop might as well go there and get it

If someone knows anything please share cause i don't want to hit steam up explaining there starting to suck lol

I never pre-order or buy a game before I play de Demo or give it a few weeks to see what the real reviews say about it but I can see where you may be a little ticked off... it was supposed to out May 15th wasn't it? :O

All I can say is, if they found a problem with the game, 2 weeks is not enough time to fix the issue and make new discs, right? A fix would have come in a form of same day patch... God only knows what the delay was for?

true i just wrote steam I told them in the last week i purchase two top games and given a free one for all of them to be pretty crappy ATM one being Resident evil operation racoon city

It's a good game but man in key times when you need sound it turns off im in the middle of a major gun fight and wham no sound so i have to run around soundless

First i thought it was me but surprise did a search and not only me but every person who owns it has the problem and it happens all through the game and in the same places


I got La Noire for free thought it would be cool guess what the game freezes after the title screen like WHAT ?

I wrote them that they need to help me out with this cause everything else i play runs like a wreckless mule on the lose so im sure it isn't me

Im hoping they tell me something good cause im about to start that hard copy thing again

Yeah I was also disapointed that max payne got post poned to june 1st when it was supose to come out May 25.Although I rather have them take longer then push out another poor port like gta iv which took seven patches to make it playable and fix the problems,though there is still some issues in the game. I was planing on buying the retail version for pc since I don't want to wait for the download since my internet is kind of slow for downloads and would take around 6 hours :/ or more with my 5.14Mbps download connection.

See, I don't believe this is the case and even though I don't know the intricasis of the situation, I don't believe you are right here.

How I see it, from the time the Publisher decides that the game is finished and ready to go into production, it could take at the very least 1 month (if not even more). why? Well, you need to send the game to print (a schedule must be met), then you need to send those game to the retailers, and whatever other logistics may exist, etc,etc. I don't believe this can be done in 2 weeks.

Guys this game has been pushed back for more then 2 years if something was up wouldn't 2 years of BS have gotten them somewhere ?

Now im waiting for steam to tell me something if there not trying to help me out im going to tell them cough me up my cash because they have done this consistantly for a good 2 months already

Ahh man here we go again steam just said there to busy to handle my preload and try again in a few hours doh !

I hate the fact that we have allowed this people to dictate When or even How we can use our own money... even if its only 60 bucks we are talking about!.

Oh well... a few more hours and you'll be on your way to some fun (I hope! )

Well? is the game all it was cracked up to be?

I only played for 30 minutes

It lived up to the hype like a GTA /Scareface and alot of cutscene's

Takes you to the 70's also Max is a Hardcore Alkie same controls with a twist

Once i get deeper into it find out how really good it will be lol

This game is pretty Incredible

This time around i am using a 360 controler im getting used to it /keyboard & mouse is cool but there is a lot more movement involved then the first 2

In the 3rd chapter of the first Part it's getting good and tons of Gunfire and serious bullet time

The hardest part yet was hanging off the Helicopter trying to shoot down launched grenade rockets and at the same time taking out the crew beneath on the Helipad

Defenitly power packed Im a smidgent farther then this but you get the Idea :devil:
