Photoshop CS4 incompatibility

Hi-
I use Photoshop CS5.5 at work and created this 1920x1080 document with about 15 Layer-comps and ~350 layers in it.
I went home and opened the file on CS4 and the message I got was:
"could not complete your request because the resulting document would be too big"
I even ruined the backup I had cause I tried to open it as well not knowing what causing the problem.
Did anyone saw that before and managed to recover the file?
Thanks, Ido

Firstly, Welcome to the Forums!
The problem is that CS5.5 is not compatibility with CS4 since it is a earlier version. It will only be compatible with CS5.5 and 6. Sorry.

Welcome to Seven Forums idohad. I see mention of how to save the file in CS5 before trying to open it in CS4, doesn't look like it will help you now, but a possibility for the future.

   Note
In Photoshop CS5, go to Preferences > File Handling > Maximize PSD and PSB file compatibility, and choose Always or Ask. Then save your file.
