Hi,

Using Windows 7 Firewall Control free version, and it seems very good.

I was wondering if anyone has paid for the PLUS version, and if it is worth it or not.

Any remarks warmly accepted.

Thanks.

I think it is. The paid version gives me the "Security Advisor". When I get a pop up of an application trying to access the internet, Windows7 Firewall control has pre-selected the zone that it thinks is safe for the application in question. It's been right most of the time and only a couple of times have I had to change the zone it suggested. It also gives you the option of turning off the little balloons in the lower right of your screen everytime something is blocked without having to mess with your registry. And its such a nice little firewall, I believe it was worth the 29 bucks not to have to try to figure out settings on the built in firewall! There are many other things the paid version gives you but I haven't had to use them yet.
