$RECYCLE.BIN folder shows on drives although "Don't Show Hidden" set
Under Folder Options, I have the "Don't show hidden files, folders, or drives" checked.
Yet, there is a folder called $RECYCLE.BIN on every drive showing when I'm viewing my folders.
I don't recall it showing before I had to do a malware and virus sweep.
Does this mean it is not a hidden file, or that its attributes were changed?
If so, is it safe to change it back to hidden manually?
TIA
