IE9 will not go back to Google search results

If a search is typed into Google and clicked on, IE9 will not respond to its back button to return to the search results.

Have reset IE9 to defaults, turned it off and restarted it, uninstalled AOL, removed all but Google from search providers, disabled all add-ons.

When i'm in IE9 and type a search in google, at the top bar of IE i'm redirected to google.com.lb
that's began to happen 1 day ago and i don't know the reason for that cause i always receive the search from google.com only.

If you right click the back button, how many items appear. I'm thinking it might the same issue as the one discribed in this thread:

Click on tools icon on top right toolbar, then Internet Options, then Search. Change default to Google, remove all others. Pay closer attention during downloads that you don't allow any sneak installs.

Run a full Malwarebytes scan.

If I rightclick on IE9 back button there are three listings, the original Google search, a Google page URL and the search result page itself. The middle choice goes to the same search result page. However it doesn't matter how many times the Back button is clicked, it keeps returning to the search result page.

Mmm, I can't seem to reproduce it on my computer. I do recall have the problem happen before on my old computer. Sometimes clicking the back button 2-3 times rapidly (by that I mean no pause at all) got it to go back to the actual search page. I assumed it was always the same issue as the one discribed in the link I gave you earlier. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head right now, but I'll get back to you if I find or think of anything.

I can choose the original Google search page by righclicking Back button.

Seems like more of a work around than an actual solution though.

Exactly. This is buggy behavior. Glad I use Firefox.

Try Google's DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I found one solution to search problems when using Google's search engine.
IE9 has 2 settings that need to be changed for Google to work properly.
1) Go to Tools click Compatibility View Settings. In the next display Check the box - "Display all Websites in Compatibility View". Then Hit Close.
2) On the address bar left of refresh button is a circle with a line thru it. Press this button. It says some content is filtered on this website. Press the bar that says "Turn off ActiveX Filtering". It must be pressed only when you are on Google's - Google.com website. On other websites, the ActiveX Filtering will stay on. That is OK.

Both settings need to be changed before IE9 will work properly using Google's Search. The new Google instant prediction search box works differently than previous versions of Internet Explorer. You really don't need to use the "Enter" on the keyboard as much. Click your mouse on any group of words in the instant prediction drop down box. Google's second page will then display lots of "results". In some cases you will see at the bottom of the instant prediction box "Press Enter to Search". If so press "Enter". Good Surfing!
