Hi there, I'm using

Windows 7 professional x64 bit (Full Retail Version)
on
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 2.79GHz
Ram: 4 GB

The original windows is windows xp

The system hardware is almost three years old!!!

But recently I just change my old Nvidia GT 9800 to Nvidia GTX 560 1GB.

I have been using this current os version for 1 year now.

Before I come to use this version I used to have a trial windows 7 ultimate running in this computer.

I always get BSOD when playing certain games only,

I tried to run whocrashes application and here below it the result.

Could you please update any network drivers? Also update your Microsoft ISATAP drivers using the instructions found here.

The following drivers need to be updated:

Code:
GEARAspiWDM.sys Mon May 18 22:17:04 2009 (4A1151C0)
fcdabus.sys Tue Oct 28 18:46:02 2008 (4906C33A)
jraid.sys Tue Nov 04 13:20:09 2008 (490FB159)
These drivers can be found by searching them in Google and then finding the associated software or driver. Finally, find the latest version of this driver or software and download and install it. Some of the drivers may also be found here (if the driver says 'Windows Update' simply make sure all Windows Updates are installed).

You should also update any other drivers you can think of including graphics, audio, chipset, SSD etc.

Make sure all Windows updates are installed.

Thank you, I have tried to updated some devices.

All that's left is it the

Intel(R) ICH10 Family 2 port Serial ATA Storage Controller 2 - 3A26
Intel(R) ICH10 Family 4 port Serial ATA Storage Controller 1 - 3A20

I seem unable to find the proper way to update this.

I have tried to google it, but most of which are not free, I have to register to some driver update software to get that update.

Is there any other way to download these two drivers free???

Also remember to update the other drivers I posted above.

Currently, after downloading the driver in the link, it appear that my version of driver is newer than the driver in CNET.

Is there any other way to find the most recent one or so??

Hm, not that I can think of. It's alright though, just move on to updating the other outdated drivers.

My BSOD still hasn't disappeared, the last time I play the game it seem like it got to have problem with

dxgmms1.sys

I tried to uninstall my Nvidia Driver, and reinstalled it again.

The result was longer game play but still got BSOD around 15 minutes or more after the game start.

It seem not affect game like Capcom X Tekken...etc though.

I tried to read many forum and heard that it is may be the problem with game running in direct x 11.

I never experience bsod while using the computer all days, it is just happen when playing game.

It seem like windows did not find any integrity violation the system.

That's the result after the scan.

And Yes I use Windows 7 Service Pack 1

When I got BSOD many years ago while using XP professional, I thought that Windows 7 prove more competent.

And yes it really is good, I been using for 1 year without any serious condition, and I haven't got any problem so severe that I have to re install the windows.

Everything fine, except recently, BSOD haunted me when I tried to play my favorite games.

I heard that Windows 8 is going out soon.

In your professional opinions, do you think windows 8 will fix my problem???

Test your RAM using Memtest86+. Let it run until 6-8 passes have completed or errors have been found.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Test your video card using Furmark. Watch your machine's temps and stop the test if it starts to overheat or artifacts appear on the screen.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100356-video-card-stress-test-furmark.html

Try the above two stress tests, just so we can rule out any hardware issues.

As for Windows 8, you can download and install the Release Preview from here if you want to try it out. As for solving your problems? I can't be sure. You can however install it in a dual boot so you can see if you like it. If not, you can always delete it and go back to Windows 7.
