I'm new to forum posting, so be patient with me. :l
I have an Acer LCD monitor, and when I shut my computer down last night, the resolution was 1680 x 1050. When I turned my computer on, the resolution got bumped way down, to 960 x 720. At that moment, I couldn't remember my resolution, so I put it to 1600 x 1200, and it's not right. Everything is really small, and I can hardly read anything. I remembered my resolution, 1680 x 1050, but when I went to change it, it's no longer in the list, the list had changed, it doesn't go up past 1600 x 1200, and if I knock it down even one setting (which would be 1440 x 900), the display looks even worse.
I have noticed that Windows identifies my monitor as "Generic Non-PnP Monitor", and it can't find anything else about it, it can't determine the manufacturer, the model number, nothing. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my monitor, but it still says it's a Non-PnP monitor.
My graphics card (if I've done this right) is Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series, and I use Home Premium 64bit.
