My desktop has been acting up some odd ways, most recent is this BSOD that happens basically as soon as everything has finished loading after booting up. I recently attempted to flash the BIOS (hoping it might fix one of the aforementioned odd problems), so I assume that must have something to do with this newest development.
Just finished reading the BSOD Posting Instructions thread, but I'm already coming up against a dilemma. The only way the computer stays on long enough for me to do anything is if I'm in Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking, but this means that I can't generate the System Health Report for Step 3 in that thread (looked up the error message it gave, was told to start a specific service, but starting that service gave me an error that said it could only be done outside of Safe Mode).
I wasn't clear as to what steps I need to take after I've gotten through Step 2 (which I've done) in order to successfully generate the dump file in a format that can be attached along with the System Health Report, but since I couldn't create that part anyway I figured I'd go ahead and at least get started by asking for advice as to how to proceed from this point.
Here's all the relevant info I can see from a photo I snapped of the BSOD:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xFFFFF800030B72FE)
Naturally I'll have more questions about the other issues once I can get the BSOD resolved, but I assume those will be posted to a separate thread.
Thanks all! This is my first time on this site, hope I'm doing it right. Just finished updating my System Specs using your free program, so I'm assuming those will show up somewhere when I post.
