Hello brokin, and welcome to Sevenforums!

Did you make sure you installed the right tool? (Windows 7 x64) - Error 0x800B0100 when updates installed by Windows Update or Microsoft Update

Did you fully update your antivirus software and run a full scan, making sure your system is malware-free? What antivirus is it?

Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot problems installing Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

You can try to download and install the stand-alone sp1: Download: Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

Double check all security software, including non-microsoft firewalls and antivirus(s). Only ever use 1 antivirus software. Check any security add-ons or tracking protection lists, disabling them all. Restart, try again.

Run 'SFC /scannow' without quotes in an administratively elevated command prompt (in the start menu search box, type 'CMD' without quotes, right click the program and select "Run as Administrator").

Don't use windows update if you are having trouble with it. Use the standalone fix (the ones i provided), download them and run them, tell me what they say.

After the SFC scan, do you get errors that were fixed, or no errors at all? If you get errors, you will need to restart the computer, scan again, restart after the scan, and then scan once more to ensure everything is completely fixed. I know, it is an annoying process. Restart after the 3rd scan.

I've not heard much about kaspersky, so i don't know if it conflicts with windows update or not. some antiviruses do conflict with normal operation, some don't. If you full scanned with both programs fully updated, i would think you should be virus free.

Make sure you click those links I provided and run each and every one of them. They each provide a good chance of fixing your problem, and there is no reason that they shouldn't be run.
