Printer issues

I have a epson r300 and an HP F4280

both say they are installed correctly but will not print. I get a message from windows saying you must select printer bfore you print. I try to select them but nothing happens.

Can anyone help please?

yes they did......but I let windows fix it and they went away. Still cant print. Windows waats me to choose a printer that is clearly installed but not communicating/.....

I did a system restore and both printers now work........go figure???

I wonder why all this happened.....
