Hello Adamus,

Did you use the tutorial below to create the VHD? If not, could you give more details about this?
Is the VHD attached and showing in the Computer window with a drive letter? If not, then I'm not sure how this is related to this tutorial. If so, then you will need to unattach it before you will be able to delete the VHD file.

Adamus,

Restart the computer, and see if you are able to delete the two VHD folders on your desktop. If not, then what is the exact error message it gives you?

I have done restart several times but sad to say VHD was not visible.

1st attempt error
* File has been damage or corrupted

2nd attempt
* there is no error and unallocated VHD appears but then Drive was not in the Volume

The tutorial you've posted on your reply is the one that I use. I do not know exactly how it happen for I expect that I can make VHD.

Adam,

I'm sorry, but I need more details on exactly what you were trying to do and with what. Which steps did you use in the tutorial below to try and create and attach the VHD? Was this a new or existing VHD?

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/566-virtual-hard-disk-create-attach-vhd.html

Just as a reminder, that once the VHD is attached and shows up as a drive letter in Computer, it will only be in Computer for the current session. Once you restart the computer, it will automatically be unattached. You can only attach the VHD in the currently running Windows.
