my computer/hard drive image?? stupid question!!

My exturnal hard drive folder image shows up as if its a file saved as "ALL FILES" icon..

whats with that?? how do I get it back?? its not a real issue.. or could it be something?? malware or virus caused??

I tried right click/properties/customize
restore default & choose file.. neither worked..

any help on this
