whats on my recovery and 100mb partition?

ok, i have an msi ge60 ond, and it has a recovery function with the F3 key at startup. i'm wondering if this is tied to the 11GB partition on my hard drive? or to the 100mb partition?

or is anything is even on those partitions? look at the snip...at the "free space"....? looks like nothings on there. i just want to know if there is anything on there so i can merge all the partitions into one if not (i think i'm a little OCD when it comes to this hahaha).

The boot critical files needed to start windows are on the 100mb.

The files needed to restore/recover your pc are on the 11gb.

I wouldn`t touch either one of them. You need them. If you want another partition in the future you can always create one from your C: partition.

In addition the files are hidden and unavailable to view without first assigning the partitions a letter and unhiding them in Control Panel. I wouldn't.

As suggested shrink C to add any new partitions, created Logical if you wish to have more than four.
Use free Partition Wizard to shrink as much as you need, create Logical partitions as needed in the space:

ok cool. thanks for the replies and info. i was just curious because in computer management it said the free space was the same as the capacity so it seemed like there wasnt anything there. ill leave them alone in case of the worst LoL (fingers crossed)icnic:
